Lovecraft Fans Rejoice! New Feature in Production

All Praise Cthulhu!
It appears there is a new Lovecraft feature film in the works, albeit an animated feature, based on a graphic novel published by Arcana Studios. The film will be titled Howard Lovecraft and the Frozen Kingdom, the same as the graphic novel by Sean Patrick O’Reilly.
As reported by Screen Daily, Shout! Factory has signed a deal to distribute the Arcana Studios animated feature in the US and Canada.
Apparently, Shout! Factory has virtually all rights to this feature including digital, theatrical and home entertainment distribution. Multiple platform releases are planned for the next year.
A Senior VP at Shout! Factory is quoted as saying, “Sean and his film production team offer a compelling vision for storytelling, supported with amazing art direction. We look forward to building a multi-generational movie audience across a wide variety of entertainment distribution platforms next year.”
O’Reilly, who is the CEO and founder of Arcana Studios also said, “The Howard Lovecraft graphic novel series is an award winning gem in our library.
“We know The Frozen Kingdom increases consumer choice as there are so few Lovecraftian feature films produced, yet so many fans of H P Lovecraft’s work.”

If you are interested in taking a look at the graphic novel, it is available at Amazon via this link.
