“Marvel’s Most Wanted” To Have A Classic Character Join The Show

David FortuneDeadline is reporting that Marvel’s Most Wanted is pulling a character from the Marvel comic book catalog to be added to the cast of the Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. spin-off.

David Fortune, created by Howard Chaykin in 1975 in Marvel Preview #2, will be joining the series and will be played be actor Delroy Lindo (Believe, The Chicago Code), and was originally written as a 1930’s adventurer, who lived for wealth and excitement, and loved handguns. In the comic Fortune managed to acquire a version of Captain America’s Super-Soldier serum which de-aged him, and he ended up joining up with Mockingbird and the World Counter-Terrorism Agency. However it is not known how his character is going to be introduced in the upcoming ABC series, and whether or not he was around in the 1930’s.

Marvel’s Most Wanted will be starring Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood as Barbara “Bobbi” Morse, aka Mockingbird, and Lance Hunter, and was created and written by S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski, who executive produce with Jeph Loeb for Marvel Television and ABC Studios.

Is this making you more excited for new Marvel series? How would you like to see the character be written for the series?
