The Two Gay Geeks just learned that Universal Studios has given the green light for the filming of the sequel to Jurassic World. Should anyone actually be surprised?
Given the enormous success of the latest in the Jurassic franchise (having recently made number 3 of top grossing movies of all time), it was equally not surprising to learn that both Chris Pratt (who has become one of the hottest box office stars with both this franchise as well as Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy) and Bryce Dallas Howard have been announced as returning for the sequel, which will again be directed Colin Trevorrow who will again co-write the script with Derek Connolly.
So take your pen and circle June 22, 2018 on your calendar as that is the date Universal will unleash the sequel in theaters.
