Red Band Trailer for “Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse” Is Here!

Zombie movies have become quite the rage. From George Romero’s original Night Of The Living Dead all the way to World War Z, not to mention AMC’s The Walking Dead, zombie movies and TV shows have come about as a means to terrorize, create horror, and generally scare the living daylights out of the theater going audience. However there has been a chance in recent years. Lately the zombie genre has become a source of dark comedy. Movies like Shaun Of The Dead and Zombieland (which are arguably the same story) have demonstrated that horror movies, especially zombie flicks, can become great comedy.

Now comes the latest in the form of Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse. Here is the synopsis:

Three scouts and lifelong friends join forces with one badass cocktail waitress to become the world’s most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they’ll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead.

Directed by Christopher Landon, ‘Scouts Guide’ stars Tye Sheridan,Logan Miller, Joey Morgan, Sarah Dumont, and David Koechner, and is due in theaters on October 30th from Paramount.
