The “Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase Two Collection” Could Be Yours!

Do you fancy yourself as something of a Collector? Do you enjoy obtaining all sorts of different packaging for the same movie again and again (don’t ask me how many copies of Star Wars I own)? Well if this describes you, and like Taneleer Tivan, you wish to add The Orb to your personal collection, then prepare yourself as the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase Two Collection can soon be yours! The 13-Disc pack releases the same day as Ant-Man, the final film in the phase, December 8th, and will be found exclusively on Amazon, as reported by ComicBook.com.

First the basics: the movies themselves! The collection includes Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, and digital copies of Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Ant-Man. There’s also a bonus content disc with, well, a lot.

The bonus disc has a new feature called From Here to Infinity that discusses Phase 2 and teases Phase 3, with conversations about Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, and Guardians of the Galaxy 2. A “Making-Of” featurette all about the tag scenes (the post-credit sequences) is also included. In addition to the fairly standard deleted scenes for each movie, there’s commentary on a couple of the films and “Preproduction Creative” for all six, showing a look at how they were developed.

All of the “Marvel One-Shot” short films are included, too, giving fans plenty of extras.

But you might have all these movies (except for Ant-Man, of course), and there’s physical specials, too. The previously revealed “Orb” containing the Infinity Stone of Power glows as a centerpiece, and collectible packaging for each disc designed by artist Matt Ferguson. There’s a page from the book of Dark Elves, a drawing from the Morag vault, uniform patches for both the Avengers and S.T.R.I.K.E. team, a PYM security badge, Tony Stark temporary tattoo, and more.
