ComicBook.com has just reported that Melinda Clarke will be appearing in the second-half of Gotham for its sophomore season.
Clarke will be playing “the attractive and cultured Grace Van Dahl.” The character is not from DC Comics. She is described as being “desperate for money and power” and is “adept at playing the perfect hostess and wife, all the while she’s plotting how she can lie and cheat—and even kill!—to get what she wants.”
The 46-year-old film and television actress is perhaps best known for playing the manipulative and cunning ‘Julie Cooper’ on The O.C., another series that aired on Fox and starred ‘Jim Gordon’ actor Ben McKenzie. He portrayed Ryan Atwood on The O.C.
Clarke will make her Gotham debut this spring in the 15th episode of season two which returns with all-new episodes February 29th on Fox.
