The Two Gay Geeks have just learned that Patrick J. Adams, star of Suits, will be joining up with DC’s Legends of Tomorrow in as of yet to be revealed role, only that it he will play a “fun character the fans will love.”
In a story from ComicBookResources.com, Adams’ character will debut in “Legendary,” the season one finale, and stick around for the season 2 premiere. Though he isn’t booked outside those two episodes, there’s “potential” for more, according to the report.
Though so few details are known about Adams’ mystery role, many fans are already speculating he’ll play Booster Gold.
DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns has already confirmed plans for the time traveling hero.
“You’ll see [Booster Gold] very soon, and there’s talks about…there’s actually a lot of plans for Booster Gold, one of my favorite characters. But yeah, Booster Gold fans, you will definitely be happy with what we’ve got coming up in the years ahead.”
In addition to his recurring role on Suits, Adams has appeared in Orphan Black, Rosemary’s Baby, Luck, and Pretty Little Liars.
Airing Thursday nights at 8 pm EST on The CW, Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz as White Canary, Brandon Routh as the Atom, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein (one-half of Firestorm), Franz Drameh as Jefferson “Jax” Jackson (the other half of Firestorm), Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl and Arthur Darvill as time-traveler Rip Hunter.
