“Age Of Ultron”‘s Claudia Kim to join the cast of “The Dark Tower”
Claudia Kim is making the move from comic book action (Avengers: Age of Ultron) to something a bit darker as she joins the cast of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower by Sony.
The Tracking Board is reporting that Kim will most likely be playing Arra Champignon, a very mysterious psychic in the mystical western world of The Dark Tower, which is already starring Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey.
This adaptation is being written by Nikolaj Arcel, Anders Thomas Jensen, Akiva Goldsman, and Jeff Pinkner and is to be released as a trilogy of films, with the first opening February 17, 2017 and directed by Arcel.
What can also be considered as exciting is that there will be a complimentary TV series starring Jackie Earle Haley, Fran Kranz, Abbey Lee, Tom Taylor, and with Katheryn Winnick being the most recent addition to the cast.
There is no information at present regarding when the TV series will air.
Will you be watching The Dark Tower when it comes out? What about the TV series? Is this a story worthy of being adapted from the printed page to both the large and small screens?
