The first panel for FX’s new X-Men series Legion premiered during Marvel‘s “Cup O’ Joe” panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
Developed by Noah Hawley (Fargo), the drama follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real.
Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) stars as David Haller, who in Marvel comics is the mutant son of Charles Xavier.
Produced by FX Productions and Marvel Television, Legion also stars Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, Rachel Keller and Katie Aselton.
The eight-episode first season debuts in early 2017 on FX.
