guardiansofthegalaxy2-teaserposter-frontpage-700x348I have said numerous times on our website and on our show, I love surprises. Well, I love GOOD surprises, and today there was a GREAT surprise…

The English version of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Sneak Peak trailer has now been released online, and while plot points aren’t heavily hinted at, it does feature the welcome return of your favorite characters.

Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Racoon, Drax, Yondu, and of course Baby Groot all make an appearance, and the soundtrack is one that fans will remember from the first Guardians. This is only a sneak peak, with the full official trailer soon to come. You can view the new footage in the clip down below.

Speaking of Baby Groot, actor Vin Diesel recently described the upcoming project in comparison to the original.

“The first movie was really about becoming a family. This movie is about being a family. And what’s harder, becoming a family or being a family? I think it’s being a family. That’s where you really have to deal with each other. And that’s what this movie is about. And their sisters. They are family, whether they like it or not. And they also want to kill each other, so it adds a new twist to being a sister.”

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Doctor Strange opens November 4, 2016; Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – May 5, 2017; Spider-Man: Homecoming– July 7, 2017; Thor: Ragnarok – November 3, 2017; Black Panther – February 16, 2018; Avengers: Infinity War – May 4, 2018; Ant-Man and the Wasp – July 6, 2018; and Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019.
