The trailer for “Wolverine 3: Logan” Is Here!
Ever since Hugh Jackman stepped into our lives as the cigar smoking Logan/Wolverine, fans have been looking forward to one very specific story, and now we have the trailer for it Logan, which is taking an ambitious storytelling approach.
Set in the year 2024, we find the X-Men are all but gone, save an aging Logan and Prof. X, whose respective powers are fading. Meanwhile, a shady corporation called Transigen is turning mutant children into weapons and… Well you can see in the trailer above what sort of conflicts that sets up for Wolverine.
This trailer has so many great Easter egg and character cameos: The “Old Man Logan” connections are on full display; but fans will no doubt be mainly talking and speculating about the future of the young mutant who will be X-23.
Wolverine 3: Logan, from 20th Century Fox, hits theaters on March 3, 2017, followed by Deadpool 2 on January 12, 2018. The movie versions of Gambit, New Mutants, and X-Force are still in development.
