The new “Titans” Trailer is Here, and it’s Not Family Friendly!

The new trailer for DC’s Titan series has finally dropped, and it’s most certainly NOT family friendly! Being that it will be streaming on Warner Bros. new “direct-to-consumer digital service” means that it has the potential of going about as dark as any of the Marvel properties currently showing on Netflix.

How this plays into the DC Universe is anyone’s guess. It’s not stated if this series connects with the current movie franchises or with the CW shows, but there is a familiar name being thrown about, that being Batman, who apparently is not well thought of by Dick Grayson. You can see the trailer below and judge for yourself.

The series description is as follows:

Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites (Dick Grayson/Robin), Teagan Croft (Raven), Anna Diop (Starfire/Koriand’r), Lindsey Gort (Amy Rohrbach), Minka Kelly (Dawn Granger/Dove), Ryan Potter (Beast Boy), Alan Ritchson (Hank Hall/Hawk), April Bowlby (Elasti-Girl), Jake Michaels (Cliff Steele), Seamus Dever, Bruno Bichir, and Dwain Murphy (Negative Man).

Familiar names such as Geff Johns, Greg Berlanti, and Akiva Goldsman are attached to this show, which at least gives a sense of encouragement based on their successes over at the CW. The series is currently expected to premiere sometime in 2018, and viewers who sign up for memberships on the streaming service will also be able to see a wide variety of other new and original content, as well as some old familiar favorites from the WB, as well as access to merchandise not normally available to the general public.

This trailer does have very mature language, so consider yourself warned!
