The concept is that Dr. Zombie is a monster family physician, because the mad science lab doesn’t pay much and he has to a do a day job to fund his passion.

Once in a while, The Torch Theatre hosts a contest called the Cerberus Cup. Everything is done in threes. Brackets, each with three improv teams, and each team has three members. The audience votes on who moves on in the brackets. Then there’s the final three which always packs the house and it is always a blast, because it’s normally the best of the best playing for the audience’s love. I’ve played in a number of Cerberus Cups myself and I had a great time every time whether my team won or lost. The high energy of the theatre makes it an event no one should miss. Also, it’s done to raise funds for the Phoenix Improv Festival. So, really everybody wins. And, since I drew Cerberus in this comic, I dedicate it to the Torch Theatre.
