Medusa does not appear here with her serpent body out of respect to Ray Harryhausen. There’s no way that I could make that incredible design come to life the way he did. Man, my 12 year old self loved it when we discovered “Clash of the Titans” at Blockbuster Video. That was breathtaking stop-motion animation. We watched that thing multiple times just for the creatures, not the acting or the story. We watched it to see Harryhausen’s amazing creatures appear to live. Good times.
