Disney Announces New “Marvel Rising” Specials At WonderCon
WonderCon attendees were treated to an exclusive screening of the next chapter in the Marvel Rising franchise, Heart of Iron. Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron stars Sofia Wylie as Riri Williams a.k.a. Ironheart, and features Ming-Na Wen as Hala, Kim Raver as Captain Marvel, Dove Cameron as Ghost-Spider, Tyler Posey as Inferno, Chloe Bennet as Quake, Cierra Ramirez as America Chavez, Milana Vayntrub as Squirrel Girl, Kathreen Khavari as Ms. Marvel, Kamil McFadden as Patriot, Dee Bradley Baker as Lockjaw/Tippy-Toe, Mick Wingert as Iron Man, and Melanie Minichino as A.M.I.
Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron introduces Riri Williams a.k.a. Ironheart to the Marvel Rising universe,
Rhi Rhi’s voiced by Sofia Wylie (“Andi Mack”) and the choice is a good one. In this 44-minute special, Riri Williams struggles with adjusting to college life. She’s far younger than the other students and it makes her feel isolated. After Hala the Accuser destroys the school’s engineering lab and kidnaps Riri’s best friend, Riri takes inspiration from her hero Iron Man and plots to defeat Hala and save the day.
Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron premieres on Wednesday, April 3 at 4PM PT on Marvel HQ.

Following the premiere, Marvel announced three new Marvel Rising specials to come:
On the day of Gwen’s “Battle of the Bands” competition, mysterious attacks force her and the Secret Warriors to investigate. Can they save the city and get Gwen to the concert on time?
The lives of the Secret Warriors are turned upside down when faced with their latest mission: hang out with Shuri, the Crown Princess of Wakanda, and show her what it’s like to be an ordinary teenager. But nothing’s ordinary when you’re dealing with one of the smartest and most famous people on the planet.
In this 44-minute special, Inferno’s powers are stolen by a young and powerful villain and it’s up to the Secret Warriors to defeat their new foe and help their friend. But does Inferno even WANT his powers back? Meanwhile, America Chavez, voiced by Cierra Ramirez (“Good Trouble”), learns a lesson about friendship and family from teammate Ms. Marvel.
